SUMMARY:Guided Meditation and Buddhist Book Club with Beth
DESCRIPTION:We begin with a Meditation Session—a period of guided and silent meditation open to everyone\, whether you’ve been practicing for years or are sitting for the very first time. No experience is needed; just come as you are. \nFollowing the sit\, we gather for our Buddhist Book Club. Our first book is Dipa Ma: The Life and Legacy of a Buddhist Master by Amy Schmidt—the story of Dipa Ma\, a widowed mother who\, through profound determination\, became one of the most influential meditation teachers of the twentieth century and a guiding light for many Western teachers. Together we’ll explore her teachings\, share questions\, and consider how her example of fearless practice speaks to our own lives. Whether you’ve finished the chapter or are just curious\, you’re welcome to join the conversation or simply listen. \nAll are welcome. Come for the sit\, stay for the discussion\, or join us for both. \n“Be your own refuge.”
