OUR VISION

A home for meditation, mindfulness and community

As our community grows, it's time to build a permanent home together. The intention behind this project is to build a community, root these beautiful ancient teachings, and guide people to look within for the answers they seek outside.

We're searching for a permanent property to open a new meditation center that can offer people a quiet, natural space to gather, meditate, listen to Dhamma talks, attend retreats, so that people may gain a better understanding of themselves and the world. Whether you're new to meditation or have practiced for years, whether you come from a Buddhist background or feel called to this practice, we warmly welcome you to be a part of our community and our vision.

With your support, we'll secure a space with a large meditation hall for daily meditation, day-long and residential retreats, classes, and community gatherings — a refuge that will last for generations to come.

Bhante Chandrawansa on Keystone Monastery

“I learned that the word Keystone means “an essential component of a structure or ecosystem.” Without the keystone, the structure or environment suffers… and cannot thrive or survive.

To me, the Sangha is a Keystone. This community is a Keystone… We would like to call this new center “The Keystone Monastery.”
